The great unmasking: Finally you will know who you danced with, or what face lies beneath a mask. Or will you? Optionally thou can leave just before this occurs, it is after all the night of magic of masks!

The evening was getting slowly darker and it was the time for the guests to arrive. First arrived ever-helpful Tara, more than 30 minutes early, she reminded that the Masked Ball absolutely had have muffins, or it would not be a success. Videric noted this and added it to the last minute shopping list which he had because cakes needed to be bought as fresh as possible.

After the cakes and muffins had been purchased it was time for Videric to stumble in his costume, which was odd-looking mask with orange cape. Tara for some reason wanted to be "The Oracle" although she insisted wearing bright green robe instead of dull brown. It also turned out that Oracle outfit was to be quite popular among many people.

The Masked Ball did not begin with a speech because people were too hungry already and it was decided that the speech would be after everyone had fetched some food. Gaveston's speech was quite short with the message of: "Thank you for coming, and this hopefully will be the first event in order of events to come at the Trade Caravan tower".

After the speech some of the guests introduced their "masked identity", as it was the rule of the ball not to reveal one's true identity before the end of the ball.

Then followed the dance at the specially prepared ballroom. The dance turned out to be quite a success as people did not want to stop it at all, even when the time had run out.

During the night there was quite many different styles of dance from waltz to exotic ones. It was also the time when some late visitors arrived, which in no way were ordinary. First there was a strange old man, who again looked like the Oracle. His identity was no solved during the night although his connection to the orcs was considered.

Other late guest was the mystical lady in blue dress and a blue mask, who turned to be no other than the fortune telling gypsy; Rilla Takhista. However the strangest of the guests was the masked phantom that only spoke few words before disappearing again, keeping his motives to himself. The reason he was called a phantom was simple: one could see trough him! Even Rilla had no explanation what this spirit was.

After the dancing was over, it was time for the revealing of identities, the great unmasking. Many quite famous faces were revealed under the masks, such as Dardan Brook and Pad O'Lion to mention just few of the guests. Unfortunately the unmasking was disturbed by the fact that couple of guests were masked orcs, although they did leave quite quickly after revealing their identity. Perhaps they were there to spy about future caravans.

However the Night of the Masks was a success despite the little incident, and surely will not be the last event that shall be held within the walls of the tower.
