Henric Thornhill is a man in his late forties, although he may look even older. His face and hands
are wrinkled from hard work at mines and heavy use of alcohol. He is quite large man and is well over
1.8 meters in height, but his belly is not small either and shows that he might have drunk few beers
or just eaten well.
The history of Henric Thornhill.
Henric Thornhill is the first born of the Thornhill family of Britain, and remained as the only son of the family as the other two born after him were girls. Being only male representative of the family his father taught him the art of blacksmithing and tinkering that had long been in the family tradition.
Being a good listener and sharp minded he learned his father's teachings fast. Over the time Henric became quite skilled blacksmith and even learned to mine his own ingots. His shop at Britain was well known and sold quite well, which gave him enough gold to support himself.
Over the years he met many people in his line of work, women as well, however he remained unmarried, mostly because of his heavy boy like attitude and drinking problems. The drinking problem started slowly to affect his work and it became less exceptional, and at times: even quite poor.
This careless attitude continued until to the day his mining cave collapsed, while he was collecting minerals inside the mine. The accident happened because he had been drunk while mining and he accidentally had hit a support pillar. With a good luck he somehow managed to survive the collapse and was rescued few hours later by the fellow miners.
The accident however had a major impact on Henric's life. He decided to start all over again, and restore his family name as well. To gain totally fresh start he decided to move away from Britain and to stay away from wars, that coming of Minax had caused, he decided to follow Lord British to the Trammel facet.
On the countryside near Cove he met Videric Gaveston, the leader of the Trade Caravan. Henric saw that Gaveston could provide him the environment that he needed to restore his skill and honour, and decided not waste this opportunity. After a long discussion it was decided that Henric would join the Trade Caravan of Cove to restore his skills and provide goods for Trade Caravan, for a profit of course.
