Telor Gorn's journal entry II
I learnt through time that everyone had a price,
though many would deny it. My price was part of my
humanity.
Throughout the time I lived in isolation many would-be
treasure hunters and merchants selling slaves and
other illegal goods would cross my cold steps. Most of
the treasure hunters where somewhat loud which in turn
wasted my time when I had to 'persuade' them to leave.
The merchants, on the other hand, where very
interesting indeed. One of the slaves they had with
them was a brutish Severed Heads orc called Ash'Gazul.
He was fairly beaten and bloody, I'd guessed that the
slave merchants cared little for the orc. I wasn't
initially sure why I purchased him - perhaps out of
compassion or more likely for a new, resilient
subject.
