The Fourth Caravan

Videric knew he was late again, and he was hoping that Flora would forgive him for making her and her crew to wait. He tried to make Blossom, that noble Skara Brae lady's gift(horse) to him, ride faster. As he did that, he cursed the horses name again as he felt it was not fitting to his ego. However turning nobles gift down would not be good for business, so he was forced to keep it, for now.

After a while he arrived to the meeting place at the Deepwater school where he met Flora, who had of course been waiting already. After giving the merchant few comments about being late she accepted the chest of goods Videric gave her.

"Finally we canst outsmart Frabagor, if he would attack the caravan this time there wouldst not be anything to loot", Videric commented to Flora. She nodded as a reply. The idea of the delivering cargo by using a boat had come from Videric's talk with the mayor Brooks and Flora. It was agreed that the caravan would not have any valuable cargo while the boat would delivered the goods in time to Spiritwood's market. And now the plan was about to come true.

The gathering was at Deepwater's tavern again, and once again there was many people waiting, perhaps a few less than usually because of there had not been any notice of it on Deepwater town board. After seeing everyone was with, the caravan set it's course towards Yew and from there to Spiritwood.

But once again, there was trouble ahead. Orcs, those vile creatures, were at move again. On road to Yew there was trouble ahead as orcs were spotted fighting the guardsmen militia. It seemed that orcs had beaten the guards at this point, as the little two men scout party was wounded and forced to let the orcs to dominate the road. Luckily orcs were happy with the tribute the caravan gave, few drinks and food, obviously they did not know caravan could have valuables, or did they?
Soon the caravan reached the Yew militia where few more joined the caravan. Most interesting or should I say noticeable person was a jester who wished to see Spiritwood. He also told he was a very good riddler, and of course his words were tested. Videric could only agree that he indeed was good in what he said he was, as he could not solve his riddle. After a short while in Yew the caravan hurried on the road again, hoping to avoid any further orc contact.

But Videroc's wish did not come true once again as on the road near the orc fortress the orcs attacked. After denying any gold to orcs, the exchange of words changed to a fight, luckily the caravan was well prepared and armed this time and the orcs were chased away. However this again raised a question if Frabagor had allied with these orcs, who seemed to be according to their banner from Severed Head-clan, or were these orcs on their own? Videric wished Seer Aymer would have been there to answer the questions, as Videric was still bothered by the news that the seer had been looking for him a while back. If only someone knew what he had to say...

the second attack
After a long trip, the caravan finally reached Spiritwood without more conflict. Flora and her crew; Lady Zuleika and Lady Eslana were waiting at Spiritwood village with Videric's goods. Everything had went well, and the market was free to begin.
