"But Lord Namaste, it was hardly mine fault! I had many guards with me, they simply took us by surprise", said Videric, after explaining what happend to jewels that the Lord Namaste had ordered from him. "Of course thou'rt responsible, the jewels were at thy responsibility, I was relying on thy word merchant", He paused for a minute and continued: "I might be willing to forgive this if thou will do me a favour, and please dost not turn this offer down, I wouldst hate to spread bad rumors of thee. A man in my position hasth a lot of influence ye know." Videric concidered the situation in his mind for few seconds and nodded quickly: "It wouldst be an honor to do anything for thy lordship." Lord Namaste's face turned to a big smile, which made Videric more nervous. Then the lord started to speak: "I am placing a lot of trust on thee merchant. As thou know, I have a beautiful daughter and she is about to be married to a lord in Britain. And as the captain of my personal guard is ill at the moment, I think thou will be good enough for the job. I need thou to escort mine daughter SAFELY to Britain from here" He looked at the merchant with his ice blue eyes and said in low voice:"And if something happens to her, thou canst be sure that something will happened to you as well. Didst I make myself clear?" Videric tried to stand still and look as calm as he could: " Aye...milord doth not have to worry, I shall escort her safely to Britain." "Excellent! Now let me show thou her house in Britain from the map..."

The gathering was at Saturday evening at the newly decorated Skara Brae Councelors hall. Again many people showed up to help. After all had taken a seat Videric told the situation and introduced the noble daughter of Lord Namaste, her name was Lady Lyvija. She was young, dark brown haired woman, with a noble accent and most certainly spoiled nature. Also there was something in her smile that Videric did not like, maybe it reminded him of Lyvija's father too much.

Gathering and briefing.

As Videric did not want the last caravan's mistakes to happen again, he decided to name few volunteers as Lady Lyvija's bodyguards. Five men stepped forward, few Videric knew from the past, some were strangers to him. The names of these brave men were: Moridin Darkeur, Pynd Kjeldoran, Frank Buck, Alexandra and Urotsukidoeji. After that, all was set to go. Alexandra was even generous enough to buy a horse to lady Lyvija, as she stated she would not walk. To keep everyone's spirit up, Alexandra decided to take the cat that had been watching the meeting with the caravan, as pets often had a positive affect on people.

the introduction

"Onwards", said Videric and the caravan set towards Spiritwood and then Britain. The journey towards Spiritwood went well until Videric decided to take a shortcut trough the woods. This caused Lady Lyvija naturally to complain in loud voice. And to make her happy, Videric promised that the caravan would take the longer and easier way back to the road when they would continue to Britain. After short trip in woods, there it was, Spiritwood. The purpose of the visit there was only show her ladyship the place and to greet the fair people of the village. Alexandra took the honour and introduced Pad O'Lion, who was at the town to welcome the caravan, to Lady Lyvija.

After a short while the caravan was on the road again, taking the long way back to road to Britain. Although it was a slow way it gave Videric and others a chance to see if there was any new clues of Seer Aymers fate, however the green fields were peaceful and nothing strange happened. Being a bit restless from the last caravan, Videric asked everyone to ride or walk more faster so the danger of ambush would be at least a bit more slim. The unfortunately Alexandra's horse slightly wounded itself on a rock when marching fast towards Britain. To make sure his horse would survive he decided to turn back. Everyone wished him good luck back, but the caravan had no choice than continue onwards. Understanding this Alexandra waved and said he would be alright. As others continued forward, Alexandra, his horse and the cat was left behind. However the cat he had with him did not want to come with him, and being in hurry to get treatment for his horse he left the cat on the side of the road. Unknowingly he probably saving many lives, maybe even his own.

Alexandra is forced to leave the caravan.

Seer Aymer is alive! At about half way between Spiritwood and Britain, there was a man in green robes stumbling on the road. His robe was slightly torn and he seemed like in need of help. And as Videric came closer he recognised the man, he was Seer Aymer! Relived but also worried Videric and others asked what had happened to him. He told he had been held captive at the orc fort near Cove, and that he had suddenly been let free by his captors. Not surprisingly he named the Orc Diplomat Frabagor as master mind behind his capture. Then he told more worrying news: "I saw him turn one of his henchmen into a cat. And told me they (referring to caravan) would most likely tame him. That way Frabagor would learn what they needed as far as names and who accompanied the caravan. So I came here as soon as I could to warn you." He also hinted he knew more, but he firmly said it was not the time to talk about it. Being worried of the safety of the caravan and the lady he was escorting Videric did not start to question him more, but he was sure he would ask him later. Videric was indeed puzzled; Why was that vile Orc after the caravan he was leading? Why him, why this caravan? After not wasting much time the caravan hurried towards the mountain pass of Britain with Seer Aymer. And much thanks to Alexandra's action to leave the cat behind, there was no ambush. Videric felt victorious when the caravan reached the mountain pass, and waved happily to Lord British's guards. Now there was only short journey to the manor where the his escort would be staying. After several stops because of either of her ladyship was feeling ill or that there was sand in her eyes, the caravan reached the manor. Lady Lyvija Namaste was finally safe and she even was happy with the caravan and promised to tell her father that everything was well and that Videric's debt would be forgiven. Now would be a good time to question seer Aymer, thought Videric, but he could not find him from the crowd. After asking from several people, he came to conclusion that Aymer had vanished as mysteriously as he was found. Videric hoped dearly that he would find him soon again, so he could learn more... was Frabagor after just the gold of the caravan, or was there something special about this caravan? There was so many questions... But now it would be a time to rest. Videric shook his head and took Pad O'Lions offer to join him in tavern at Spiritwood. After arriving, Pad told him about a coming market day at the Spiritwood and how he would like the caravan to arrive there to open it. The idea pleased Videric as he sensed gold in this deal, and he gladly accepted it. The day was set to be the next Thursday and that the caravan would leave from Deepwater again. And so plans for next caravan were already made!
